We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 3rd Line Network & Security Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced networking and security expertise, with a focus on complex troubleshooting, design, and implementation. You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure and security posture, ensuring high availability and performance.

Job Responsibilities

Provide expert-level 3rd line support for complex network and security issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Design, implement, and manage advanced network solutions, including SD-WAN, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
Configure and maintain Fortinet security appliances, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Implement and manage cloud networking solutions, integrating on-premises infrastructure with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Perform network and security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network and security documentation.
Collaborate with other IT teams and vendors to ensure seamless integration of network and security solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking and security technologies and trends.
Participate in on-call rotation as required.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior network engineers.
Required Skills & Experience

Advanced Networking (Routing, Switching, SD-WAN)
Fortinet Security Appliances (Firewall, VPN, IPS/IDS)
Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Network Security Assessment and Hardening
Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution
Documentation and Reporting
Scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications

Proven experience in a 3rd line network and security role.
CCIE (level equivalent) networking skills.
Strong experience with Fortinet security products and certifications (Fortinet Professional preferred).
Extensive knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and implementation.
Expertise in networking switching and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
Experience with cloud networking and security in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNP, Security+, CISSP) are a plus.
